Our Story

At TLA, our journey is deeply personal. Our founder, Londyn, knows firsthand the challenges of navigating a world not always designed for those with diverse needs. Being neurodivergent herself, she experienced the ups and downs of educational environments that often miss the mark when it comes to support and the emotional challenges that exist as a result. In addition to her own struggles, her cousin, Iyana, faces daily hurdles due to Rett Syndrome. Seeing the struggles she faces, especially in finding inclusive spaces and resources, inspired Londyn to create a place with children like Iyana in mind from conception instead of as an afterthought. Many centers designed to support neurodivergent children use approaches that promote masking, conformity and provide support in educational vacuums, leading to difficulty later in life. We aim to create a space that allows these children to learn skills that better their quality of life in and outside of the classroom. TLA isn't just a business for us—it's a passion project born out of love and a desire for change. We're on a mission to create the inclusive communities we wish we had growing up. It's personal, it's heartfelt, and it's what drives us every single day
